By accessing or using the Architectural Film Specialist ("AFS") website, requesting a consultation, or engaging us for services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or our services.

AFS provides consultation, specification, project management, and installation of architectural window films and related glazing products. All services are subject to a written proposal or contract that controls scope, price, schedule, and warranty for the specific project.

Quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. Pricing is based on the information available at the time of the proposal; material price escalations, site conditions discovered during install, scope changes, and overtime/after-hours work may result in a written change order.

Commercial and government payment terms follow the executed contract or purchase order, typically net 30 from invoice. Smaller projects may require a deposit at scheduling with the balance due on completion. Past-due balances accrue interest at the lesser of 1.5% per month or the maximum allowed by Florida law.

Window film products are covered by the applicable manufacturer warranty (3M, XPEL, LLumar, Avery Dennison, or other) provided with the project. Warranty terms — including duration, covered defects, glass breakage, and IG seal coverage — are governed by the manufacturer's written warranty document. AFS does not extend or modify manufacturer warranties.

AFS warrants its installation workmanship to be free from defects for a period of one (1) year from substantial completion, unless a longer term is stated in the project contract. Workmanship warranty does not cover damage caused by abrasive cleaning, chemical solvents, building movement, glass breakage outside an optional manufacturer rider, or acts beyond our control.

Client is responsible for providing safe, lawful, and reasonable access to the work area; clearance of furniture, fixtures, and window treatments within 3 feet of glass; functional water and electrical service; and disclosure of any known issues with the glass, framing, or building envelope. Pre-existing glass defects discovered during install are documented in writing and are not the responsibility of AFS.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AFS's total liability arising out of or related to any project shall not exceed the amount paid by the client for the specific scope of work giving rise to the claim. AFS is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or business interruption.

Each party agrees to indemnify and hold the other harmless from third-party claims arising out of its own negligence or willful misconduct, subject to the limitations in Section 8.

All proposals, specifications, drawings, photographs, and content published on this website are the property of AFS and may not be copied, reproduced, or used for any commercial purpose without prior written consent.

The website is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Information on the website is for general guidance only and does not constitute a contract or binding specification. Always rely on a written proposal for project-specific terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, Florida.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the website or our services following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
